I'm sharing this because it's important to know that everyone is fallible, and must learn through negative experiences. When this ex-friend told me how I had made her feel, it shocked me. I hadn't realized because I'd never considered how my actions might affect others. And I learned a valuable lesson about boundaries.
We were friends first, but forgiveness is not always forthcoming , and I understand that and respect her desicion.
The reason I speak about Women's rights and toxic masculinity is partially a way of atoning for that. But mostly, I do it because I think it's the right thing to do.

And don't get me started on the age difference. I was a gross guy. Today, I have standards for age.
There's no "mature for their age" for me. If you're younger than 35, I'm not interested.
Then again, I'm not interested at all any more.
