This isn't an original thought, but I think we need reminding now and then: #smartphones suck at being phones. They're not particularly good at being #computers either, because convergence is really difficult or some such lame excuse. Younger generations use them mostly for texting. They've managed to make themselves useful(?) for security stuff, like Authy, but it's not like that was ever a critical necessity. They make a lot of #ewaste. So why do we have these fucking things?

Why not? I make special table for bath and take laptop with me. Read from phone - it that It's like peeking through a keyhole. 😀

Unlike laptops, phones are better protected against moist. And using keyboard with wet hands can lead to problems. If you aren't comfortable with phone screen size, there are tablets and ebooks.

So water resistance for the phone, of course, is very actual. 😀 And wet hands for the touchscreen is not very good either.
