@bloodaxe Thanks! ☺️ And please use this hi-resolution version ▶️ https://www.davidrevoy.com/data/images/blog/2023/2023-01-13_my-neighboor-mastodon-2_final.jpg Thank you for letting us see all that fantastic stuff... :liftshat: 👋 @Monolecte @davidrevoy alors qu’elle tient justement un parapluie parce qu’elle n’a pas de k-way ! @davidrevoy Thank you so much for creating beautiful comic art and for actively promoting #opensource software like Krita! 👍 For those wondering: @davidrevoy's first "My Neighbor Mastodon" picture was posted at https://framapiaf.org/@davidrevoy/109360176850811651. 😻 @bluecaller Please use this version for Wallpaper: https://www.davidrevoy.com/data/images/blog/2023/2023-01-13_my-neighboor-mastodon-2_final.jpg , it has more crisp details than the image uploaded on Mastodon. Thanks! @davidrevoy Congrats! 🥳 🥳 It's us who need to thank you for your inspiring art and promotion of open source! When we try to advocate for open tools with colleagues and friends, it's great to be able to mention an amazing artist like you as an example of people who use them. @davidrevoy Thank you for brightening my day (or evening in this case) with your wonderful art! @davidrevoy I remember when I found your videos about Krita. I was new to Linux, looking for a program to draw, so Thank you! @davidrevoy This picture.. 😍 ...should be a - huge and mandatory - painted mural at those triste, "feeling cold, hostile and forlorn" RL bus stops, everyone not born with a silver spoon surely knows. The longer I look at it, the more I'm convinced it could and would heal such places, at least to *some* (positively) perceptible extent, and at least for *some* noticeable time. 🐞 Can I tell you how much I love reading your captions? Even as a signed person, I don't always appreciate the whole picture, and your captions are so detailed, I don't miss anything. 🙏 @davidrevoy @davidrevoy Amazing as usual ... Why this Mastodon thing does not allow me to follow you a second time ? @davidrevoy You rock! My daughter and I are both fans of Pepper & Carrot. Your willingness to share what you create and your championship of FOSS software are truly inspirational. ❤️ @lufthans Thanks! Ahaha 😆 I so wish for the cat bus in P&C, but no. A shame Ghibli universes are not under open license (and Zelda, and DiscWorld, and Secret of Mana, and Final Fantasy 7, and Chrono Trigger, and.... .... .... ). @zeaphyou Hi, Yes. You'll find direct references written in the alt text of the picture. @davidrevoy is that the framasoft cat? :ablobcathappypaws: it's so cool you can do this with krita, i should take notes 🤓 @dangit Thanks! About the cat, yes and no. The cat is Carrot, the cat of Pepper from my webcomic Pepper&Carrot (you'll find the link in my profile). But when I started to illustrate the CHATONS for Framasoft, I couldn't draw them in another style so, yes they looks exactly like Carrot with more pattern on their fur. @davidrevoy As an avid anime (and Ghibli) fan, and someone who wishes he possessed more than a speck of visual-art talent… I loved “My Neighbor Mastodon 2” 👏👏👏 Now following… |
@davidrevoy Yet another backround image for my PC 😄 Haha, amazing stuff as always! :blobcatcheer: 👏
