@pixelfed had some difficulties logging in with my password manager (Bitwarden). Choosing the password to use would take me back to the server selection page, not the login form but i fiddled around a bunch and managed to login eventually.

This is more a note for me so I can remember to add a bug.

@pixelfed Is the fact that you can not zoom in the picture - this is still a development or a fundamental decision?

The same about the lack of the boost button.

– obligatory squared photo while editing: would be nice to have an option to disable
– photo size when already posted (although cropped, photo appears to be horizontal (originally vertical photo))
– while choosing filters, the photo gets too big
– photo adjustments missing
– text not working

@pixelfed Haven't found any major bugs so far. A few notes, the login process is a bit cumbersome, using a password manager, after choosing the instance and I'm redirected to the login page if I switch to the vault to get the details the window disappears.

Other thing, but this may be my problem and haven't found it yet, how do I upload a picture that is on the phone ?

@pixelfed would it be possible to publish the source code, so that it is possible to build the app ourselves? I'm not a big fan of installing a proprietary APK on my phone

@pixelfed I signed in OK but it can't actually load any data. I'm on metapixl. "Could not load feed" and "An error occured when trying to refresh your feed."

@pixelfed First time I test the app, very stylish and I like it👍.
However, navigating pictures is not very smooth yet, unless I misused it.
May I suggest rather Mastodon style for viewing images ?
- one click: view image
- double click in view mode: zoom
- swipe in view mode: back to timeline.

@pixelfed just want to say, I think it's great to have a streamlined, guided login process in addition to manual login. Too many fedi apps just have manual login and it is scary for normies.

@pixelfed@mastodon.social it's a bit slow and clunky, but glad to see that it's starting to get somewhere! Hopefully it'll be on par with (and eventually surpass) PixelDroid soon :)
