@At0micAndy @damien @atomicpoet Because these anti competitive rules are against EU regulations (up to 20% of revenue can be fined).
And talking about your profile on other services is perfectly fine. If you need to prohibit "promotion" like this you are not gonna make it because this means your service sucks.

@At0micAndy @damien @atomicpoet First Toyota is not a social network, second they wouldn't kick you out if you told the sales guy, "I have a Mitsubishi XYZ as a second car" "Right now I'm driving a Mitsubishi" "My Wife drives a Mitsubishi", if you forbid people to speak about the existence of other social networks because you fear they may switch it's because you think that your service sucks.
Otherwise they would be no need for the rule change. It's quite obviously

@At0micAndy @damien @atomicpoet By the way a lot of influencers from Insta or YouTube use Twitter as a communication tool with their fans, if you ban all of them you would shoot yourself very hard in the foot.
