I am sure Toyota would not allow Mitsubishi adverts on their premises, why should twitter allow mastodon to promote itself on twitter? @At0micAndy @damien @atomicpoet First Toyota is not a social network, second they wouldn't kick you out if you told the sales guy, "I have a Mitsubishi XYZ as a second car" "Right now I'm driving a Mitsubishi" "My Wife drives a Mitsubishi", if you forbid people to speak about the existence of other social networks because you fear they may switch it's because you think that your service sucks. @At0micAndy @damien @atomicpoet By the way a lot of influencers from Insta or YouTube use Twitter as a communication tool with their fans, if you ban all of them you would shoot yourself very hard in the foot. |
