@dnsprincess I found the Samsung Internet browser surprisingly good on Android, it's Chromium-based but supports ad-blockers and its dark mode actually works

Xenia :blobBongo:

@dnsprincess chose other as I use chrome and safari pretty equally

Cuber

@dnsprincess Vivaldi is my preferred browser, although as an Android user I am kind of stuck having to use Chrome a lot. And sometimes it's just easier to go with chrome if I'm being lazy.

Skeptical Beans

@dnsprincess Primarily Firefox, but occasionally Brave, Vivaldi, and Chromium.

sonofsamwise

@dnsprincess Firefox back in the saddle and ready to win the fight for privacy!

Cornelius

@dnsprincess why are these not checkboxes? I use three different browsers for different things

RoHa Arts Fotografie

@dnsprincess Ich nutze fast jeden der aufgeführten Browser, einschließlich Vivaldi.

Greenman

@dnsprincess Firefox with privacy hardening tweaks is my weapon of choice

Joubin 🛡️

@dnsprincess

I can’t believe I’m typing this. But I run Edge, even in Mac these days because their sidebar tabs implementation is so well done.

Self Loathing Driver 🌐

@dnsprincess I use the DuckDuckGo browser, so basically Safari. Missing some features and a long way to go (0.30.6 release) but I like some of what it does have.

elperiodistacafe

@dnsprincess I’ve been using Arc by the Internet Company

Anton

@dnsprincess well obviously most of us are using firefox

Sequoia Hall

@dnsprincess I should use Impervious Browser more than I currently do.

gio

@dnsprincess Vivaldi, used to be Opera until the buyout

Appel

@giovan What happened? to Opera.. They *were* so good.

Ty Buchanan

@dnsprincess
More people using Firefox.?This is weird. To set up bookmarks in the latest version of Firefox is impossible. Had to dump it. I do have the option of running an older version of Firefox. I run the latest chrome and an older clone along side it anyway.

RATTLE ME BONES

@dnsprincess i use morbo browswer, the broweriest brwoser that ever ddid browwsed

ahrnsetido10

@dnsprincess vivaldi on android and windows :vivaldi_red:

Lea de Groot 🇦🇺

@dnsprincess @benhamill chrome for dev, FF or safari for personal browsing

infinite_loopy

@dnsprincess I use firefox as my main, chrome for work email, and safari when neither of those render specific sites correctly. Still have IE for server management on my work machine.

Will

@dnsprincess lol of course firefox is winning on mastodon!

oatmeal

@dnsprincess voted #Firefox (dumped chrome years ago), which I also use on iOS. There’s also gnome-web (#epiphany) which has come a long way and can even sync with Firefox, and while in #emacs#eww 😷 would really love to switch to #Nyxt, but don’t have the energy to customizes yet another environment… brave though is a scam, not a browser imho. What’s important, there’s a choice.

DELETED

@oatmeal Brave, as a browser, is very decent. I've been using it for a year, as a browser, and it's been almost boring. It's just Chromium with an ad blocker and orange branding.

The financial and crypto stuff around it is super shady, though. As soon as the jig is up, I'll join you in #Firefox.

Chris

@dnsprincess I was a religious user of Firefox for about 15 years, but it developed a really annoying lag issue a few months ago and it seems to affect any browser based on a recent version of it on my (very new) computer. Currently using Waterfox which hasn't done it much since my last browser reset, but I may be forced to shift to a Chromium-based browser if it continues to lag, because they don't seem to have the issue, whatever it is.

Day7

@dnsprincess Iceraven on Android, Firefox on everything else

Roland L. Taylor (RolandiXor)

@dnsprincess "yes".

(I'm a web designer. I use every browser, basically).

Qu

@dnsprincess I'm surprised Firefox is in the lead...

President Warren G. Harding

@dnsprincess 67% of you vulnerable to hacking and phishing 🤔

Kevan

@dnsprincess When I created a poll recently I could only add up to 4 options. Lucky.

Rin Whyte

@dnsprincess While I use Chrome, mostly, I do use Firefox for work. So it's a mixed bag.

Dave V. ND9JR

@dnsprincess I voted Firefox, but only because I think of these options it's the least worst. I'm no fan of it, especially considering how it is now versus how it was back when Mozilla introduced it as the "lightweight" alternative to their own Mozilla Suite (now SeaMonkey and now under different ownership).

Anthony Pollifrone

@dnsprincess none because I can’t log in via browser

Is this meant for using mastodon ?

Cay

@dnsprincess I use both edge and chrome. Edge for work related things, chrome for leisure things!

Bobo

@dnsprincess Vivaldi of course! They even run a server on Mastodon. Genuine people, great browser! Thanks for making this awesome browser @Vivaldi I've been promoting it within my circle of friends and beyond for years now. 🥰

Ian Yates

@dnsprincess I develop using Opera and browse generally using Edge (both on Windows)

Mike | Raymond Tec

@dnsprincess I voted before I realized what instance you were posting from... have I been pwned?

Burner

@dnsprincess@infosec.exchange I use chromium for PWAs, and Firefox for... web browsing.

penryu

@dnsprincess @plexus Definitely use more than one on a daily basis, but personal is Firefox. (Containers!)

rik

@dnsprincess Dude, Firefox is da bomb! i just wish we didnt have 1 or 2 big browsers but like the apple pie for browsers were equally divided.

Tash

@dnsprincess I use both Safari and Chrome. Safari for my Google account stuff and Chrome for everything else.

Shifty Skip

@dnsprincess Either Icecat or Emacs Web Wowser, depending on the situation.

LastofAvari

@dnsprincess I use Vivaldi Browser @Vivaldi
It's a Chrome-based browser from the old Opera team. It's loaded with features and very customizable too.

Raithlin

@dnsprincess Other: I use Arc on MacOS and Samsung Internet on my device.

Mike M.

@dnsprincess
I use Lynx, w3m, and QuteBrowser (but mostly FireFox - probably 75%).

Carmen Crincoli

@dnsprincess Edge on desktop, Brave on iOS. Brave+PiHole makes me feel OK browsing YouTube, FB, etc on my otherwise ad-infected iOS devices.

Martin

@dnsprincess I use Firefox Developer Edition as my main, Vivaldi (Chromium-based) as my backup. I would love something as fast as Firefox with at least some of the features of Vivaldi. I'm also looking forward to the launch of Arc and seeing what exactly it will be! arc.net/

Victor Vanchesa

@dnsprincess Build in MacOS' Safari. I am very satisfied with it.
