Yes, Fediverse and Mastodon in particular are distributed among a lot of independent servers. You don't need to move to another server to communicate with another Fediverse/Mastodon user.

@BahstanCubano I write & produce TV shows, feature films & other content. I used to make a show for HBO called "Tales From The Crypt". Did another show for Showtime called "The Outer Limits". I've made feature films (Children Of The Corn 2, Demon Knight, Bordello of Blood) and I'm producing a podcast right now called "The How NOT To Make A Movie Podcast" that Entertainment Weekly (a big entertainment magazine) called "Best Film Podcast of 2022". Ad there's lots more coming. I'm working on a streaming horror series right this second.
