@dansup @pixelfed simplify SELFHOSTING because the fediverse is unsustainable if many people join, the servers will not hold up and the costs will be very high. A plug-in or API for @nextcloud would be greatly appreciated.

@KAM0F @dansup @pixelfed Features for hosting providers would be good too. Like on HestiaCP, you can add a domain and 1-click install Wordpress, NextCloud, Drupal, etc.. it should be that easy to install multiple instances of Fediverse software on a server.

@Adam @dansup @pixelfed there are many possibilities, @nextcloud is one example, @yunohost another as well as #hestiaCP. In my opinion, creating an accuont and selfhosting it should be as easy as creating an email or facebook account (with a tutorial), sure the pc will have to stay on 24 hours a day as if it were a torrent... but it is the only way if the fediverse can be as popular as meta or tiktok and do real competition.
