@TheBreadmonkey I've switched to DuckDuckGo although it's a matter of time before Bing AI takes over there as well.

Google had sometime back been asking for location information and I just got tired of saying no all the time. Made the switch and never looked back.

I absolutely loved DDG (I'm shortening it so I can look cool), but I found it was so so SO SLOW. It drove me mad after a week or so and I ended up reading about lots of other people having the same experience. Have you experienced this?

Why not go back and see? I haven't noticed it but then my standards may be low.

@TheBreadmonkey the speed has been fine 🤷 I set it as the default in Firefox for both myself and another (someone who is also keen on privacy and for whom I am tech support 😅) and if it was insufferably slow, we would both have noticed.

Disclaimer: we're also the types to militantly deGoogle ourselves and be somewhat willing to pay the price 😉

Unless it is an Internet speed thing (I haven't had any problems when using mobile data) and/or geographical thing?🤔

@TheBreadmonkey maybe try it out and report back here so that we can help? 😇
