@randahl This might explain why the tech billionaires are so keen on Putin, because they may well get an opportunity to buy Europe from him if everything goes to plan. @randahl "gee, if only the EU had well and trully no fucks to give about its people"
I've bashed the EU for many of it's faults, but goddamnit if I won't die on the hill the EU is doing good with a lot of its refulations that prevented dogshit like the Cybertruck on our roads, or Copilot on our computers @randahl nobody even wants this crappy shit but that'll never stop them from destroying the planet and governments to force it on them Sad Australia doesn't have EU's interest in or protection from online privacy laws and digital rights. Good that we enjoy some of the benefits by proxy but nowhere near enough. https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/digital-principles @fixatedpersonsunit@aus.social @randahl@mastodon.social @clintruin@mastodon.social @randahl Zuk has been quiet for a while, let other people reveal how big of psychopaths they are but it seems he is gradually believing that it is ok to show he is also one of the group after all. Honestly........ ๐ Psychopaths, the lot of them... It's more than that. With the GDPR, the EU has set the global standard. Here it seems that the EU does not. So is the EU regulation setting a global standard here? @randahl @randahl I'm sure he has more than one. Likely the best money can buy. There is no cure for being a douche. The douche has gotta want to change. more snooping, more right wing crap forced onto people by alogrithms unaudited by anyome, comsuming loadsa energy from fossil fuel. its a pity so many foss people are happy to work for the likes of meta without thinking about the damage they do. @ApaulD @randahl Why doesn't he tell the whole story? โWeโre launching AI to interact even more with users, so they spend more time on our platforms and we can collect even more data from them to sell ads they donโt like, don't need and probably block. Itโs a shame we canโt do that in the EU, because privacy is a little bit more important over there.โ @randahl @randahl Itโs sad that the US is not a value based society like the EU, which protects itโs citizens through itโs committment to the #CharterofFundamentalRightsoftheEU However, the โ#CambridgeAnalytica scandalโ, โ#schrems or the propagation of #humanrights abuses through #facebook on โ#rohingya for example, may indicate why he may continue to find this difficult . @randahl When "Justice for All", a spurious version of the national anthem sung by defendants jailed over their roles in the January 6, 2021 insurrection, was played last month at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, guests stood with hand on heart. Among them was Mark Zuckerberg @randahl Anything that makes Zuck sad makes me happy. I know far too many people who are addicted to FB. @randahl Bill Alt text for the benefit of the visually impaired: Screen capture of a social media post from zuck: @randahl Changing a couple of words makes it clear: "Putin 3days I'm not feeling the loss right now. Almost as profitable as a mobile phone company claiming they need your biometric data to take your cash to pay a prepaid fee, claiming they're doing so to protect YOU from harm in the way it sells a fraudster five phones using only your phone number for an ID. That's after they've been made the subject of a consent decree for failing to provide adequate physical and virtual security and for using your data without consent for personal financial gain. Suits some companies to a T. I won't join the chorus telling billionaire sociopath (redundant, I know) Zuck where to look where the sun doesn't shine - but the ultraviolet light does. President Elmo is trying out how to purchase the EU, by practicing on Airstrip One's next election. He promises to triple the amount spent on the average UK election to put Reform and Nigel Farage in power. Under Elmo, Fascism always arrives on the back of a clown. @randahl Hey, here's an idea. Let's copy/paste Twitter drivel and get everybody all fucking riled up here on the Fediverse. |
@randahl Europe is on the right track here.
