also what do you use for bulk storage? just 2.5"-ers or a SAN or something like that?

i love the hp dl380 lineup since they're so cozy and relatively quiet (since g9, g8 has a custom ilo flash which gives it fan control though) for rack servers :) and i am heavily considering getting a 2nd one for bulk storage needs but wondering what to use with it since the lff models kinda suck because caddies suck and also the internal p440ar for the g9s sucks since i use zfs and would like to continue doing so

What bandwidth do you get from your ISP?

Google Fiber keeps saying they'll be available here soon, so home-hosting a lot more stuff may soon become viable. (Google is evil, but being an ISP is one of the less-evil things they do, from what I can tell.)

I keep a close eye on it as we have a 4G backup line that becomes active on a modem failure.
