Well, it's been a crappy month and though I wasn't planning to dress up for Halloween early for the kids, I saw this and had to change my mind. I'd been planning to make my own at some point, then found one ready to go.

Only one kid knew what it was right away, but some adults did. They all still thought it was funny, and that was the biggest point. I always loved seeing these guys on Sesame Street. Just too funny and not the brightest (but they sure did try their little Martian hearts out!).

Yip yip-yip-yip-yip, yip-yip. Uh-huh, uh-huh.

Do cats kill rabbits, or do they just stalk and pounce (or chase them off)? The crazy tall grass has been letting wildlife a lot closer than I am used to seeing. But I was super surprised when looked out and caught my little huntress watching a rabbit next to the brush with HUGE interest.

I looked away from my journal when my timer stopped to see Twix dozing on the dining chair next to me. I'm used to her sitting on the pages or trying to get the pen from my hand around the 25 minute mark.
I'm surprised she let me finish my journaling time uninterrupted & I got to go a bit longer for once.
