What bandwidth do you get from your ISP?

Google Fiber keeps saying they'll be available here soon, so home-hosting a lot more stuff may soon become viable. (Google is evil, but being an ISP is one of the less-evil things they do, from what I can tell.)

Good to know that that is sufficient bandwidth for a workable fedi node! (We currently only have 12 upstream, also via cable.) Hope the fiber arrives soon!

@woozle @sysadmin appart from media uploads blahaj.social has an average use of 1-2mbps upstream.

I keep a close eye on it as we have a 4G backup line that becomes active on a modem failure.
