@Gargron I already did that part. Ah, hah! OK. I made my alias, but I forgot to go back to that screen and finish that step. ...and now, the follow requests are streaming in and waiting for me to approve them all. @Gargron OK, I'm there now.
I already did the alias step, exported my "Following" file to a .csv which seemed to import OK.
Apparently, it was supposed to have migrated my followers automatically, but I haven't seen any change in my .social follower number yet.
Will I have to logout and log back in to see that change? I know it takes some time for changes to propagate across a large network...
