I just don't know if this particular format is well suited for something that isn't driven to maximize attention span and serve ads. @rosco @raccoona_nongrata @dansup There are many TikTok creators who put a lot of time and effort into short form content that doesn’t monetize viewer attention. I think a platform like this could do well at distinguishing between a “creator” and an “influencer,” as the latter’s role is, to me, inextricably tied to profit motive while the former need not be, necessarily. Short form creators often enjoy sharing their art for its own sake. |
