@dansup @pixelfed I am so happy to hear all of this and will anxiously await the new updates! I’m already in the TestFlight program for the iOS app but if you want anyone to do even earlier testing for the app (or web interface) please let me know.

I appreciate your feedback, and tbh its crucial to feature development.

Pixelfed is people powered, and it's quite unique to have a platform like ours that prioritizes user feedback to this degree

I can't wait for your feedback once we ship this, there are so many possibilities with a feature like this, for example, being able to see Nearby Posts could bring a whole new dimension, locality!!

@dansup @pixelfed I remember many years ago when Instagram still had a photo map feature, it was a great way to find cool stuff nearby (people told me they looked at my photo map all the time to find good pizza).

I appreciate your openness to feedback, thanks for doing so much to make the Fediverse even better.
