If you see this message, or other messages indicating your version isn't supported, it means you have the old app installed.

Uninstall the app, then install the new version via:

@pixelfed when I try to install from Google Play, it only allows me to pre-register. Why would that be?

@pixelfed wow no. Theres no reason for that kind of extremely bad support for older versions. This worship of constant new versioning isn't a problem for users to fix, or be a party to fixing.
