@TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas maybe when its worn on the body it becomes part of whats not visible? You should be able to see the clothes if you can see the markings I think. @JohannaMakesGames @warandpeas interesting. But... What if he were riding a bike ? Would the bike reflection shows ? Would the contact of the hand enough to make it non reflectable ? @TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas so I went to check their comic strips and found this data regarding photos: chairs: visible, fishing rod: invisible ,(fish on it is visible though). So it looks like it needs skin contact? @JohannaMakesGames @warandpeas but what about shoes then ? Don't vampire wear socks ? @TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas thats a good question, they either dont, or its something that can be, sweated through a sock π @TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas no, for the same reason that he canβt see his clothes. π€·πΌββοΈ @dashrb @warandpeas alright, that's consistent. But then, how many layers of clothing can he make invisible ? What stops this property ? If he wears, let's say, a backpack, it should be invisible, even if the vampire's skin has no direct contact with it. Shouldn't the floor also become invisible through his shoes ? @TofuTheSquirrel @dashrb @warandpeas It's possible that it's a "Free-standing" rule here - anything that's on the vampire but not already more grounded to the ground than grounded to the vampire is invisible, otherwise, visible. @TofuTheSquirrel @dashrb @warandpeas So if he grabs an electrical cable connected to ground and another item, it's visible. Telephone pole wires? Visible. If he cuts that cable on both ends, and then picks up the part that is disconnected from the other parts, it becomes invisible, until he re-wires it to the other parts of the cable. @AT1ST @TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas itβs also remotely possible, and hear me out here, that this is all BS and vampires donβt even exist, much less have some pseudo mirror invisibility property. π Even so, itβs more fun to discuss this than it is to discuss the potential end of democracy. @dashrb @TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas Look, it could be useful if my DnD character encounters a vampire soon, and we can use that logic to solve a problem involving a vampire recruit joining us and pulling tricks like that. @dashrb @AT1ST @warandpeas yup yup, funnier than the end of democracy, absolutely. (It's election night here in France π₯) @TofuTheSquirrel @AT1ST @warandpeas I hope folks come to their senses prior to your runoff next week! Good luck! @TofuTheSquirrel @dashrb @AT1ST @warandpeas I was living in France (in 06) when Le Penn did well in the first round. I was very proud of my colleagues, even the one who never voted, all went to make sure Le Penn was beaten. This time there is more support for the racist politics, unfortunately. Good Luck!!! @IncHulk @dashrb @AT1ST @warandpeas yes. Years of CNews (far right tv channel) have constructed an alternative reality in the mind of a lot of people. It's very hard to change that now. @TofuTheSquirrel @warandpeas @kleines_z @warandpeas I don't know ! I am very confused about the whole thing ! π |
@TofuTheSquirrel, exactly what I was thinking. π
If he handles a candle, it appears floating the air, right? From this point, other thoughts/questions:
- What if he carries a kid on his shoulders?
- Wouldn't his clothes appearing floating in the air?
