@mwl On a Facebook post of this, someone said "I would just open the window for my new friend"

That's exactly how tourists have their hotel room destroyed and got hurt in Canada.

@kingu @mwl Before going to Canada for the first time I asked a friend who lives there if there was something I needed to know before going.

She said "wildlife in Canada is larger, more aggressive, and way more dangerous than you imagine; yes, even squirrels".

@jkb @kingu @mwl Allow me to be very specific about our Canadian Geese; they sure are pretty, they sure want to eat your face.

as someone who did move to canada after a certain election (i’m a triple national, i don’t have immigration issues), this has totally false disinformation.

no one dies in canada.

…ok except for Gord but no one likes Gord.

@mdhughes @jkb @kingu @mwl Lol first time seeing this xkcd.

It's particularly funny to me because I have a relative saying the same thing who got their dual citizenship post 2016. Still not sure if they're actually serious about moving to Canada.

Well even in the Netherlands… we have a few domestic ones that attack dogs and visitors 😬
