@kingu @mwl Before going to Canada for the first time I asked a friend who lives there if there was something I needed to know before going.

She said "wildlife in Canada is larger, more aggressive, and way more dangerous than you imagine; yes, even squirrels".

as someone who did move to canada after a certain election (i’m a triple national, i don’t have immigration issues), this has totally false disinformation.

It's particularly funny to me because I have a relative saying the same thing who got their dual citizenship post 2016. Still not sure if they're actually serious about moving to Canada.
