@drewdevault boosted, since it avoids me having to type up something only thing to add really is that the x.org leadership committee has oversight over all things fd.o and serves as appeal body for any decisions by the code of conduct team. maybe for a future case where things are less clear than here https://www.x.org/wiki/XorgFoundation/Policies/Hosting/

Assuming good faith on the part of the initiator of the email thread, I agree with this.
