@fleeky mostly upper body strength at the moment, but I've been pushing hard on cardio as well. We're only docked for a few more weeks, but by then I'd like to be comfy with:

800cal/h cardio workout
200lb legpress
20 pull ups reps
walking on my hands

@neauoire woah 20 pull ups is nice, you could be an aerialist with those guns :)

i just do handstand / frontbend training so no weights but i am getting older and probably need to start cross training.

that said my most likely cross training will be in the spring doing forest management and building cabins , digging out an old spring etc :)

i love hearing about people's exercise routines, good luck and keep us updated on your progress !!

@fleeky The pull up thing started off when I saw someone at the gym who was just "hanging", like hanging with their arms stretched down for 60 seconds, I started doing the same and I noticed that after a while I was able to pull myself up from hanging down. That and handstand are really good to move toward 20 pullups series if that's your thing :)

Looking forward to the spring as well :) Digging shit out is best training!

@neauoire @fleeky I always try to do pull ups in slowmo e.g. 4/5 s up, hold for 2/3 s, 4/5 s down (but not completly (no loose hanging)), hold for 2/3 s and up again. However, I'm always proud af if I manage to do 12 or more. 😅

@neauoire thanks for the tips !
i recently did a show where i had to climb a rope and learned some footholds to sit while up in the rope for like 2 minutes, i noticed that the rope climb + hold actually really worked my abs (much more than my shoulders for instance) ,, would recommend rope climbing if you can , also i still think that Chinese style pole climbing is probably one of the best all body workouts although not as good as climbing probably.
