Just learned I, too, joining OpenAI’s design team??? I didn’t apply or agree to this. Ask your dentist for a night guard. Your pharmacy will have some generic ones, but the best are from your dentist or orthodontist taken from a mould. The guard keeps you from locking your top and bottom teeth together while you’re sleeping. Girl bye.” have i ever told you all about how i got a call down to my high school principal’s office for inappropriate content in my school google drive? they used this tool called Gaggle to parse all files stored in school drive accounts and if it found anything objectionable, it forwarded it to your administrator. i had a web dev project in there, which had an HTML file containing some lorem ipsum text, which in turn contains the pseudo word “cum”. that was enough to trip the system.

@samhenrigold I got a letter from the principal saying I was looking at inappropriate websites and it ended up being because I visited a font store with a font named “graffiti” @samhenrigold I found a bug once where a 12-bit control bus went to all unknown state (X state in the sim). Title for the bug was “control bus goes to XXX”. Nastigram from HR, copied my manager, threatened me with “disciplinary action up to and including termination.” Manager thought it was funny. I changed the title.  @samhenrigold To answer your question, no you haven’t. And my goodness, I forgot about Gaggle. as I've gotten older and more mature, the more I relate to this image and the less I'm able to articulate why it’s reassuring to know that it’s not just me, creating a data grid in Figma really does suck beyond comprehension https://www.untitledui.com/blog/create-tables-in-figma  @samhenrigold At work, I’m designing a data-heavy internal application that uses tables pretty much everywhere. It’s just painful to do that in Figma. If they don’t introduce some Auto Layout features for flexible grid layouts this year, I’m gonna be real mad! lot of interesting UI going on in here https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2024/02/introducing-apple-sports-a-new-app-for-sports-fans/  @samhenrigold I like the colour clash they’re playing with. That text-only segmented control/tab is a choice. no shade but i really like how they have every former apple designer under the sun working on this thing and these are the UI sounds humane came up with
