thanks to everyone who took the time to watch my talk last week at the first 11ty conference! that was a total blast and i have just now caught my breath lol.

here's the demo repo as promised — i’ve included a basic README guide, comment-annotated the code, and added my bibliography so there's plenty more material to explore. <3

if any of this is painfully unclear, feel free to hit me on here or open an issue over there, i’d love to get this locked-down. <3 thanks for havin’ a look!

🔵 - a website in which you have been falling. you scold yourself now, free-falling endlessly down this trap-doored hole. you curse your foolishness for seeking the footer on a modern website, when you're certainly old enough (or perhaps young enough!) to have learned that...

(inspired by Andy and Matthias' conversation about the lurking evils in web design these days lol)

@henry love this, but small question totally separate, how the hell do you have this adaptive og image when sharing your link? :blob_wolf_hug_moon: Looking at the source the og image is totally different from what is displayed on here

sorry about that, i wasn’t making a strange face because of what you said on the team sync meeting, but because i’ve been watching my own camera the whole time, and at all times i am nothing but a horse discovering his own reflection

the new-old trend of pardon-my-dust personal website live redesigns is so perf. i love seeing everyone’s thought processes and experiments. so much playfulness and potential, seeing which parts stay functional and which are temporarily made unavailable; like visiting the home of a friend during their remodel

u ever think it was fucked up that the <abbr> element is abbr'd

Amelia Bellamy-Royds

@henry No, it's perfect. Self-documenting, if you will.

(My opinion my be biased by the fact that my own initials, AKA my own name abbreviated, are ABBR.)
