I smell that EA is making problems

@gamingonlinux That was my thought exactly, even if I skip a lot nowadays there are usually good games, this month really feel weak in comparison.

@gamingonlinux I was kinda salty yesterday when I clicked a YouTube video labeled the new monster hunter game announced (that had a Rise logo in the thumbnail) only for the video to play footage from old games while stating that it’s a board game in the works.

@gamingonlinux Google Discover is usually pretty useless, but these sites make it worse. And I'd block them, but 1 in a million times they actually have real news. An update on the King of the Hill revival? Hidden in a Screen Rant exclusive interview with Stephen Root (which I found linked in another clickbait article that totally misrepresented what he said). Everything else they've published in the past week? Garbage.

@gamingonlinux This game plays so well on the #SteamDeck. It was the first game I put 100 hours into exclusively on my deck.

@gamingonlinux oooh! I didn't know it had native linux support. I'm pretty sure last time I checked it didn't (or did I only check GOG?)

I'll have to get it now, I really enjoyed Rogue Legacy and this one looked a lot better still.

@gamingonlinux Thanks for the review. I theoretically like games like this, but no longer have the time to get into more involved games with a lot of learning and setup time.

Nowadays it has to be easy to pick up and play, and more importantly: easy to put down at any time to go do something else, without losing progress.

I just don't have the free time anymore.

I received a copy from a recent AMD purchase but it's only in the stand alone EA Desktop app and I am having the worst time trying to get EA Desktop to launch at all through Lutris or Bottles.

@gamingonlinux After the launch buzz I'm going to wait for a bit on Survivor, but I did spend an hour and a half uninstall ing and reinstalling Wine until I got EA App working properly in Lutris. Fallen Order works fine on it at least

Man i was not able to buy Lords of Magic back in the days, but the demo got me stoked so i trued about 6 months to get an illegal copy somewhere, to no avail. Years later when i could get it i played the heck out of it.

AvP was a blast aswell. Beep. Beep. The radar.
