I love (sarcasm obviously) how so many sites are just constantly clickbaiting.
Just came across: "Steam Users Surprised With Freebie for Major New Release"
It's a Redfall sticker.

@gamingonlinux I was kinda salty yesterday when I clicked a YouTube video labeled the new monster hunter game announced (that had a Rise logo in the thumbnail) only for the video to play footage from old games while stating that it’s a board game in the works. @gamingonlinux Google Discover is usually pretty useless, but these sites make it worse. And I'd block them, but 1 in a million times they actually have real news. An update on the King of the Hill revival? Hidden in a Screen Rant exclusive interview with Stephen Root (which I found linked in another clickbait article that totally misrepresented what he said). Everything else they've published in the past week? Garbage. |
@gamingonlinux I’ll never forget seeing “News Update on Long Awaited Switch Game”, acting like it’s gonna be Metroid Prime 4 or something, only for it to be a 3 paragraph article about the Switch port of Genshin Impact that’s just “it’s still happening”
