@gamingonlinux here on the official app it says you have 40 followers aha. But i know it's likely an error.

@gamingonlinux There's Linux. There's gaming. There's the preposition "on". What's not to love?

After doing this for about 14 years now, I have today come to a decision.

This wasnโ€™t an easy one to make.

Jay Little

@gamingonlinux It is well deserved. It's an addictive and great little game that lacks the persistent performance problems that Vampire Survivor has.

Alex

@gamingonlinux itโ€™s not bad after all, Iโ€™ve completed almost everything it has to offer already, but it was fun.

Been using ddg for a long time now. Recently tried google. I can't think how they still are having such a huge lead in search. Competition caught up to an great extended.

Half-Life 2 is technically a retro game now right Released in 2004 ๐Ÿ‘€

@gamingonlinux: I've never liked the "it's [X] years old, ergo it is automatically retro" delineation.

Port to the original Xbox aside, it feels like a game contemporary to the PS3 and Xbox 360 and I'll argue vehemently that neither is retro as long as games still resemble Demon's Souls or GTA V or The Last of Us.

Graham

@gamingonlinux That means The Legend of Zelda Windwaker is a retro game and I refuse to accept that.

@gamingonlinux it appears to be a Peltier unit with a fan attached? My concern with units like these is that lowering die temps can make the fans spin less, meaning less airflow for the rest of the main board components.

As someone who learned about thermodynamics a long time ago a โ€œsolid-state active cooling chipโ€ sounds as horse puckey. (Edit: see below)

Referring to fans and thermal sinks as โ€œcentury old technologyโ€ in the wankeeteering materials does not help.

They seem to use piezoelectric fans and a FLAT cooling surface (wanketeering materials, YMMV). Which would require more flow than a ribbed radiator to cool the same amount of thermal energy (century old thermodynamics principles). >>>

@gamingonlinux Like others said, based on how generic that statement was, it's probably a bot. Most likely just spouting something off randomly to stay active.

I'm imagining the same meme format but it's about having to remember the proper options to untarball something, which I am still unable to commit to memory after like a decade of using Linux.
