@gamingonlinux Rubbish! I was playing only the other week! Literally as I do at least one run a year 😋

DELETED

@gamingonlinux You can't be hitting me with shit like this first thing in the morning. Gotta give that caffeine a chance to settle in first.

@gamingonlinux No one has needed a more powerful gaming engine than Source

@gamingonlinux you are lying. No, you must be lying. It can't be that old. It just can't 😳 Welp
In all seriousness, just doing run on Steam Deck. Got used to controls and now having a blast.

@gamingonlinux

Retro as a label for games is long overdue for either some greater granularity.

Roughly speaking:
Spacewar was 62, Asteroids was 79, Elite was 84, Starlancer was 2000, first release of EVE Online was 2003.

Arguably they're all retro space shooters. Which at that point is just a statement about the label "retro" rather than about the videogames themselves.

RAK

@gamingonlinux: I've never liked the "it's [X] years old, ergo it is automatically retro" delineation.

Port to the original Xbox aside, it feels like a game contemporary to the PS3 and Xbox 360 and I'll argue vehemently that neither is retro as long as games still resemble Demon's Souls or GTA V or The Last of Us.

@gamingonlinux That means The Legend of Zelda Windwaker is a retro game and I refuse to accept that.
