@gamingonlinux Oooh, I hope BG3 works on Vulkan again. Upgraded to a 7800XT and ended up with worse performance than my 5700XT. Hope this fixes things - thanks for the heads up Liam!

@gamingonlinux as a solo indie dev myself I believe this brings up a good point that we should start distinguishing solo developed games or games made by like two or three people from any sort of game developed by a team that has any sort of specific managerial position in it.

@gamingonlinux simple:

A game made by one or multiple "independent developers" aka. neither access to resources nor funding by big publishers and/or developers.

Meaning <100 people (if we count in all bought-in assets and playtesters) may and usually <10 people (employed directly or indirectly) and a budget <โ‚ฌ 1M.

Anyhing above is #SmallStudio and not #IndieDev!

@gamingonlinux I loved playing that game on my eeePC.
Now it's time to revisit it on the deck.

Willdrick

@gamingonlinux Heck yeah! Even better for Deck users, they can enjoy the game as it was intended to be played: on a touchscreen. I wonder if there's a way to use the deck's gyros to replicate the original iOS version where you had to go portrait for combat.

Stop arguing over the best Linux distro

Ubuntu is great
Arch is fun for tinkering
Fedora is good for workstations
Mint is good for newbies
Manjaro
Pop!_OS has a cool interface
EndeavourOS is interesting for easy Arch installs

@gamingonlinux It's far from dead... Wayland gaming performance sucks and it's still buggy as hell on Nvidia...

@gamingonlinux Reasons I have no plans to ever buy another Nvidia Graphics Card.

Hermann

@gamingonlinux on fedora I still use X11. Kepassxc autotype still doesn't work on Wayland. Hope once x is not available anymore these kind of features are supported.

@gamingonlinux I'm definitely buying this, and immediately assigning it to the same category as most of my Steam collection: "Someday, maybe never". I don't need fewer hobbies, I need fewer non-hobby activities and responsibilities. ๐Ÿ˜
