PlayStation has announced Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC with Nixxes Software porting! While they don't mention the #SteamDeck directly, we do have an odd mentioning that it will in-fact have a PSN account requirement: Killing Time: Resurrected is a fantastic, weird, and refined retro first-person shooter that continues showing us why Nightdive is the king of remasters. And it is near flawless on the #SteamDeck! A copy was provided by Nightdive Studio for review. A new #SteamDeck Beta Client update was released yesterday with some changes to make native Linux games more compatible between Deck and Desktop clients: New #SteamDeck OLED shells and button replacements are up for preorder from eXtremeRate, including a cool-looking glow in the dark option: With Assassin's Creed: Mirage coming out on Steam, we decided to compare the Steam release to the Ubisoft Connect one to see which is better for #SteamDeck: Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksn4F9b0qcY&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon @steamdeckhq .. Is that right? The Steam store page says it still uses Denuvo DRM and requires the Ubisoft Connect launcher. There was a solid amount of new free games for your #SteamDeck this week, including Kardboard Kings, Atom Eve, and Killing Floor 2: A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead runs surprisingly well on the #SteamDeck, though there are a few caveats to playing on the go. Here are our first impressions: Fanatical is back with a new #SteamDeck themed bundle that has some great games like Tails of Iron, Coromon, From Space, and more: Unknown 9: Awakening has some ups and downs, but is an overall fun experience thanks to the great combat powers and voice acting, and it is technically playable on #SteamDeck. A copy was provided by Bandai Namco for review. https://steamdeckhq.com/game-reviews/unknown-9-awakening/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon The Steam Next Fest is back, and there are so many amazing demos to check out! We have played through a solid amount so far, and here are some of the best ones we have enjoyed on #SteamDeck currently (Part 2 coming soon): We got to try out No More Room in Hell 2 ahead of its early access launch, and it may just be our favorite hardcore co-op zombie game: https://steamdeckhq.com/no-more-room-in-hell-2-preview/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon MechWarrior 5: Clans is a fantastic mech game baked in realism, and while some wonky AI and performance woes exist, it is a great game overall! #SteamDeck Performance coverage coming soon. A copy was provided by Piranha Games for review. https://steamdeckhq.com/game-reviews/mechwarrior-5-clans/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon In a follow up, we now know that Valve removed Junk Store from the Steam store due to unsupported features and modifying Steam client behavior and interface, which is a core feature of the #SteamDeck plugin: Dragon Age: The Veilguard has been confirmed to have absolutely no third-party DRM, including Denuvo, which should be better for #SteamDeck performance: A new update for Proton GE on #SteamDeck was released with mod support for Bethesda games and fixes for Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid 2, and more: Life is Strange: Double Exposure is technically playable on the #SteamDeck, but it does require some compromises for the most stable experience. Here are our first impressions: New SteamOS Beta and #SteamDeck Beta Client updates were released a couple of days ago that improve color space for remote play, make voice recording better, and more: Concurrent User Record broken again! Thank you guys so much for supporting us. This is an insane milestone, and we appreciate each and everyone one of you for using our site, watching our videos, and engaging with us here. Long live the #SteamDeck! https://steamdeckhq.com/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon Neva is a gorgeous 2D platformer with incredible visuals, an emotionally wholesome story, and near perfect performance on the #SteamDeck! A copy was provided by Devolver Digital for review. https://steamdeckhq.com/game-reviews/neva/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon Junk Store's Steam page has been removed from Steam after rewriting the old #SteamDeck plugin to fit outside of Decky's Plugin store to get onto the Steam Store: |
@steamdeckhq
A shame, I would have loved to get it on steam but if it requires PSN I'm not going anywhere near it
