The ISO 7 layer model as actually encountered: 1. Radio transmitters with buggy firmware.  Let's get rid of as many layers as possible.   @mathew We already have web sockets we can use to implement HTTP over HTTP. I can see why people like ChatGPT. I asked it โWhat would happen if I stuck my dick in the Large Hadron Collider?โ and it gave me a very detailed and plausible sounding answer, whereas CERN didnโt even reply to my email.

but like, i will DIE on the hill that GNU Image or Glimpse or whatever would have eaten a MASSIVELY HUGE CHUNK of Adobe Photoshop's lunch many years ago if the powers around it grew the hell up and changed the name
