That's one thing I miss about wintering in the Med. Sure, it rained sometimes, but when it didn't, you could do stuff and the paint would dry instead of turning mouldy or just freezing instead (that happened - it looked very ugly when it thawed and then dried days later).

The referenced report states this (page 89):

... and then continues to break down these four key sources into 78% from tyres, etc.

So we're talking about 78% of 11%, which is more like 8.6% of measured microplastics.

... But these numbers are from 2016 and are may be higher by now.

Looks much nicer with a little cleanup.
