Its great to get to know the people behind open source projects and listen to the history behind them, how they are managed/maintained and where they are going. Its also nice to hear direct from the co-founder this will always stay open source and ad-free! 100% recommend others boost this video and of course donate if you can. It was a busy time for our team and contributors. We prepared a new app and map data update for you. Also, this year, Organic Maps got 4 slots in the Google Summer of Code 2023 program. @organicmaps Something i really learned to value and miss in OM during traveling, as the Mapy.cz implementation helped me to discover beautiful hiking and cycling tracks around while traveling.  @organicmaps It is great news, but actually I am a bit sad and disappointed that better bookmarks handling, one of the most requested features, is not going to be prioritized for #OrganicMaps’ #GSoC2023… Our new Organic Maps version is out! Android users can test the experimental lanes suggestion while driving. Navigation directions should now display correctly on iPads. Finally, iPad users can use their keyboards without Organic Maps freezing, and Android users can enjoy reading Wiki articles for bookmarked places 😉 We've also improved the search function.  That's fantastic! Very happy you got the grant as I use and love #OrganicMaps daily. I'd love to boost this, but can't on principal as the screenshot has no alt text. That the toot relies on people understanding the text in the screenshot, so you're really shooting yourself in the foot here, locking out people with #accessibility needs. Anyway, thank you for making a great #FOSS app and congrats on the grant! #OpenStreetMap and Organic maps helped Dr Bilgehan Çevik, a turkish doctor, get to the damaged areas in first hours after the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Like, pdfs of payslips or whatever?
@organicmaps You can delete "to the Downloads folder".
I shouldn't have to rely on someone's exploit to give me administrative access to a personal computer I purchased outright with my own money.
