i feel like gamers wouldn't feel so entitled if they knew even a small amount of what actually went into game development  in doing this i managed to fuck up hud.xex's string tables so badly that the drive indicator has no fuckin idea what it's doing in the Mastodon Glitch-soc fork, if you default posts to unlisted (like i do), you can enable a "secondary toot button" which gives a quick and easy button to post a public post (visible in hashtags, searchable on some instances, shows in local/federated timelines)  the Xbox 360 S and PowerBook G4 15" Aluminium are the 2 best looking consumer electronics I own and they both have PowerPC processors the best quality testing resource a developer could have (web or native, but most noticably web) is a low-spec budget laptop and/or android phone, running latest software if you don't feel comfortable using your web app on budget hardware from a few years ago, then make it so you are there's something really charming about every EXE file made by most tooling having the MZ header that says "This program can not be run in DOS mode" including the Xbox 360's kernel the best "domain hack" so far has been https://server.properties - its just the default server.properties for a minecraft server i haven't migrated a few of my minecraft accounts (because i don't have enough spare xbox live accounts that haven't been flagged) apparently they're just..outright taking away the ability to migrate after september? what the fuck lol

 @ipg shoutout to Microsoft for banning the account i migrated to for something like not using my real name or something else it didn't warn us about good company good changes @ipg@wetdry.world same for me, although I haven't got any Xbox Live accounts that have been flagged lol bluesky has taught me you could get a lot of people to adopt something new no matter how underdeveloped of it if its exclusive so what if we made IPv6 invite only and ISPs had to be part of a cool club to implement it

@ipg@wetdry.world so relatable. Swapping between apps or just like, existing can kill my sound. Seems like human sacrifice works more often than not though. I legit have no idea where this stereotype of linux sound issues comes from... I have never had sound issues on linux...

 STEP 1: Open PowerShell as admin do not trust hello.coop and their verified identities, or their verified.coop and press.coop instances they use their "verification" service to make a false claim of association for accounts such as BBC and NPR at their press.coop instance, despite them not being at all official they then use a fake checkmark badge and tag their Twitter mirroring accounts on press.coop with this verification to mislead people into thinking they're official

@ipg realized they exist 1-d days ago when I saw the NPR account on their, really don't know how to deal with this... On one hand I agree with having some place that is willing to faithfully mirror those news outlets On the other hand I agree the profile green checks are a bit too misleading. Even for someone familiar with the fediverse it takes quite a bit of effort to realize the profile green check is fabricated  @ipg “Do not trust .. verified identities” Several other official sources check (such as websites and Linkedin profiles, for example) + common sense check (helps against hacked official accounts to some extent) is always better, and the best is instances like kernel.org’s one which is linked to organization’s official website domain
