Clojure 12 is looking nice! https://www.jarrodctaylor.com/posts/Clojure-1.12-Field-Guide/ Iām no photographer but Iāve been disappointed many times with what iPhone does with small details in the photos. Looks like my problems are over! https://www.lux.camera/introducing-process-zero-for-iphone/ I mean, how is this good, by any standard? Give me noise, at least noise is honest. My brain can add its own detail much better than any of your algorithm Today, we are launching something unlike any tech product in 2024: a product that uses zero AI and zero computational photography to produce natural, film-like photos. We call it Process Zero. A new mode in Halide that skips standard iPhone image processing. It produces beautiful, film like shots and allows greater control over lighting and exposure. And there's moreā¦ Say hello to Process Zero and Halide 2.15: http://www.lux.camera/introducing-process-zero-for-iphone/

@halide Hey! I might be missing something here, or I may very well have misunderstood 2.14 and earlier all along. But what's the difference between Process Zero and shooting plain ol' RAW before now? (I'd long opted for RAW in Halide rather than ProRAW precisely for the reasons you've mentioned in the post.) All security issues solved! @nikitonsky I kinda want macos to be paid product again so that apple would need to prove to users that new update is worth something, not just force it to everyone My open-source update & lifestyle digest for July is up! https://www.patreon.com/posts/transparency-109711855

But we want to extract rent for it instead of letting you own it * it wonāt last forever, and youāll have to buy a new one every time After doing a stellar job for #cljKondo and #babashka, thank you @nikitonsky for the new #squintcljs logo! A local-first system is one in which the failure of a computer you didn't even know existed canāt render your own computer unusable. ā Leslie Lamport (probably) Animating _content_ in makes no sense. I came to look at content, just show it to me as soon as itās available. @grumpy_website Literally so insulting when websites do this shit. It's like if the person who thought this was a good idea had a blindfold that you need to put on before showing you each item you wanna see so they can do a big wow reveal and you can clap at each one lol. @grumpy_website At first I thought only the images would be lazy-loaded and then faded in after they finished loading. But all texts are also doing that, so I suppose this was an explicit decision to animate all content ā¦ |
