A sleepy Tennessee shows off one paw's worth of toe beans. #ToeBeansTuesday #ToeBeanTuesday #CatsOfMastodon Tennessee in his new favorite spot (except for my bed, preferably curled up with me). #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon My adorable Tennessee showing off his adorable toe beans. #ToeBeansTuesday #CatsOfMastodon Tennessee has a new favorite spot — which is great until I want to use the microwave to heat up some leftovers. He's OK with me moving around in the nearby kitchen and with me taking his photo — but I imagine he'd bolt if I tried to use that microwave. Last night I waited a couple hours to have those leftovers, waiting until he moved. Tennessee, in one of his favorite places when I'm not in bed: right up against my pillows. #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon This photo of Tennessee may not look like much — but this was taken from me, standing in my kitchen, looking at him in the dining room not far away. He used to run away from me if he saw me (or sensed me) outside of my bedroom (where he's a cuddle monster), so this is a bit of a breakthrough. #CatsOfMastodon I was mildly interested in seeing the sneakers Trump is hawking, so I went to GetTrumpSneakers.com (no link, on purpose) in Firefox — forgetting I’d installed the Make America Kittens Again extension. So instead of photos of sneakers, I got photos like this: Extension URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/make-firefox-kittens-again/ The blankie I normally place in this corner of the bed for Tennessee is in the wash after a hairball incident, but he seems happy with the temporary replacement. Maybe it won't be temporary! #today #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon My neighbor's cats (now both deceased) showed up at my back door one day in December 2019. #ThrowbackThursday #TBT #CatsOfMastodon Tennessee, stalking a visiting calico cat (not visible in this photo). #today #CatsOfMastodon #Caturday My Mastodon Cats photo album now has 150 of the cats I've met on here! #CatsOfMastodon #Caturday Three times today/tonight Tennessee has meowed up a storm while in the living room or dining room, at the sliding glass doors. Usually that means he's seen another cat — or a raccoon, a skunk, etc. I hope no poor creature has been out in this weather. I do have two cat houses that would provide some shelter (left over from when I had an indoor/outdoor ex-feral cat) that they could use if needed. |
