Tennessee celebrates #WhiskersWednesday. You can see where they had to shave his leg for the IV catheter at the emergency vet a few weeks back. #CatsOfMastodon Tennessee, really showing off those toe beans. You might notice a lack of floof on one part of his tummy; they had to remove some to do his ultrasound back a week and a half ago. #ToeBeansTuesday #CatsOfMastodon Tennessee on high alert. I have no idea what he saw through that window. #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon Tennessee, doing his version of sitting on my lap. This completes the "sick Tennessee" posts; he seems totally fine now, thank goodness. Photos will continue for Toe Beans Tuesday, Whiskers Wednesday and Caturday — and any other time he's being exceptionally adorable. I woke up this morning with Tennessee next to me, being all cuddly and full of purrs. He ate pretty well, too. But now he's hiding out in the back of my closet. He's found six new hiding places since I blocked off access to his old favorites (because it's extremely hard to get him out from those). Hiding out for part of the day isn't unusual for him, so this doesn't worry me. I'm amazed how many hidey spots he's found, though. A sleepy Tennessee extends one paw so you can appreciate his toe beans. #ToeBeansTuesday #CatsOfMastodon #today Tennessee has his favorite spots: in bed with me, in bed without me, and on this cat tree. (There are kitty steps next to it so he can get up.) The only problem is that I can't use the microwave when he's there, since that would disturb him and he'd run off. (OK, he's a bit spoiled.) Tennessee is the rare cat who doesn't care for boxes — not small ones, not large ones, nothing in between. I finally took this one to my recycling bin just now. #CatsOfMastodon #today Today is both #ThrowbackThursday and #NationalPetDay, so here's a photo of Sunshine (the tortie) and Puppy (the ex-feral orange cat), both deceased but remembered fondly. #CatsOfMastodon A slightly blurred photo of Tennessee because getting him to stand still and look into the camera is a challenge. But you can still see his whiskers! #WhiskersWednesday #CatsOfMastodon #today The three girls who were delighted with the cat food I offered up on freecycle. (Tennessee decided he didn't like the flavor any more.) Photos shared with permission. A double dose of Tennessee goodness as I caught him cleaning: #TongueOutTuesday and #ToeBeansTuesday! #CatsOfMastodon #today Here's Tennessee on this #WhiskersWednesday, giving me the side-eye. He'd rather I keep petting him instead of pausing to take his photo. #CatsOfMastodon #today |
