@Albatrossity I used to video wild birds semi-often, but haven't in a long time. Need to make the effort.

I have a Say's Phoebe who roosts on top of my cheap security camera on my front porch. Love hearing his contribution to the dawn chorus. Say's is a clear descending whistle, none of the burr of the Eastern.

@Albatrossity They are beautiful, as our co-evolutionists all are. We have bad associations with them because death, corruption, rot, decay, scavengers. Just as we're afraid of perfectly useful and beneficial snakes, spiders, and the like.
