@bosquebill Yeah, video is harder than it should be here, because it is usually windy and the wind noise drowns out the bird! But a Say's Phoebe song is worth recording! I look forward to seeing and hearing it! @Albatrossity I have a small shotgun mic with a foam wind cover, but a "dead cat" would be better. |
@Albatrossity I used to video wild birds semi-often, but haven't in a long time. Need to make the effort.
I have a Say's Phoebe who roosts on top of my cheap security camera on my front porch. Love hearing his contribution to the dawn chorus. Say's is a clear descending whistle, none of the burr of the Eastern.
