I find that it helps me to stop thinking about streaming services as subscription services. Consider a show or broadcast you want to watch and think about the monthly fee as “this is what it will cost me to watch that particular show”. Subscribe, cancel right away, and enjoy the show for your one time payment. And if the value is not there, it wasn’t worth watching in the first place.

After a winter slump I started getting into better shape again, but I couldn’t really get back to my old base level of 5k/30min. Then this weekend I got new shoes (my previous ones had 500+ miles on them) and I magically make 30:10. Do new shoes really make that much of a difference? I guess so!
