olives with buffy the vampire slayer font / the most pleasing canned fish design // georgia is beautiful today’s my birthday so I celebrated by getting a sick ass tat from @/_dawsh (on ig) 🌞 exploring the abandoned soviet resort town #Tskaltubo (these buildings were so so so incredible) (and narrowing my pictures down was agonizing) (so this is a ~thread~) i went with @liaizon ~ this building had a small tree that had died inside and it was so surreal georgian books from the 1980s are magical tomes and nobody can convince me otherwise i shot a roll of film from a little point and shoot @liaizon found in a dumpster. there was b&w film already loaded- turns out the wrong iso, so most of the photos didn’t turn out. the ones that did have an almost mythic quality to them… i got a jun scoby from @bouncinglime and am really excited to make a lil batch! this is my largest glass jar soooo I’m limited by this size until I acquire a larger container i feel like every Foodpost i have made here has contained at least one ingredient acquired in a way that does not involve currency… think I would like to continue this trend. today we have granola featuring : orange zest from roommate’s orange i liberated this green papaya from someone’s front yard a week or so ago… finally made it into a salad today. it had been marinating in some mirin+water for a few days. i was also super stoked to find some chiles in a community garden today, so those are also present. everything else was acquired from a discount grocery store. it’s essentially a classic Thai green papaya salad with slightly fermenting papaya, really happy how it came out. participated in some softcore illegal activity this night, aka, sneaking around a cop car to explore an industrial zone lest anyone think that <last post> was the first time I found cool plates (that may or may not be cursed) in an abandoned building…….. i found these plates under some stairs a few months ago next time you desire cool plates for your home, consider: have you checked all the rooms in the abandoned mental health facility? |
