@lake How do artists feel about doing this kind of "simple" black line work? There's some simple black line stuff that I've been thinking about, but I think about proposing it to an artist my gut feel is that they'd find it boring and uninteresting. this campground made me feel like i would suddenly be making a cameo appearance in a horror movie staying at a strange campground with friends… these plants seem like they should be underwater

i made some illustrations and wrote a piece for the third issue of COMPOST magazine! @compost find it at 🩵 three.compost.digital 🩵 + please also check out the other pieces! i am still so in awe over the sheer range of experiences and knowledge the other contributors have drawn from. so cool to see my art become decoration for their text. found this map i made ages ago of a fictional city… yeah I named all the rail lines what do you want from me?!? the city was based on late victorian london and governed by military police. i was writing a story that took place there about some street kids and their dramas… @lake aaaah sick. ive been playing a bunch of city builders / train games this last week, naming all the stops is the best part @lake I should hook up a color printer to just automatically spit out photos from my photo library randomly, maybe with a fan next to the printer so they get evenly distributed around whatever space this is set up in. and then I can have this random selection of memories that I find when I am cleaning up my physical space |
the slang word for bougie in Spanish is “fresa” which means strawberry
