Oh no, I appear to be starting to write a sailing simulator. It was only a matter of time. π₯² I love writing simulators for things I am learning. It bolsters my understanding so much! Step one: scrolling tiled water background. β β
Dufour 31 sprite drawing I chose the Dufour 31 because that's what I learned in during the 4-day class I took in February. :3 Fantastic attitude & really resonates: "Mario Kart 64 was released in 1996. Since then, my cartridge hasnβt received any patches/updates/DLC. It continues to make me smile." @tty "Colleges are incentivized to provide the feeling of learning rather than actual learning. " :eccehomo: Excellent article, thanks for sharing it :) Ok, wow! Making a low resolution slide rule is surprisingly easy! I made this one using only a pencil, ruler, two index card halves, and a scan of a table of logarithms from 1617. βπ» Questions welcome :D My new website is live: http://kira.solar It's basically the same content as before, but it's now powered by a little wiki engine I wrote from bash and nodejs scripts! One day I hope I get to ride in (or build) one of these. They're called tarai-bune. You might remember it from Spirited Away! Updated the lil #uxn tile map renderer to have camera movement inertia. π It's some work to add, and isn't something people usually explicitly notice in a game, but it adds a definite *gamefeel* that I've come to appreciate. |
