I will probably make some sort of repository with useful ublock rules I found on fedi at one point

Also, I'm disabling media preview download in Husky to save up mobile internet quota

Please, use alt text when possible, generally, it helps both accessibility and experience of people without good internet, and people lacking some context, and a lot of other people

If you still use reddit, freaking leave it for going into threatening everyone who protests mode

No matter what you reason to use it anymore, people should not let companies win in protest repression battle. Every time you prefer personal attachment to social network instead of collective good will make things only worse, and reddit shown that the only way to communicate to them is to mass leave, with or without their account being banned

Was troubleshooting Windows for a relative. It wasn't that bad actually, but because nothing actually was broken, just several viruses, need for an adblock and anti-website-blocking-by-providers addon, and some disk space analyzing

Tears of fallen kingdom just outnumbered every advantage Genshin had:
- Hot guys - always were there but now more
- Hot girls - check (it)!
- Interesting plot - here, at the cost of original canon one
- Gacha addiction - here too
- interesting bosses - yep
- Being free - depends :>

(Please no additional spoilers in replies, I didn't get through half of the game yet)

The actual issue with using older laptops is not their lack of computational power - it's stuff like not being able to see the screen from even slightly different angle, touchpad recognizing only two touches at the time (no fancy touchpad gestures or even middle click for you)

For some reason Fluffychat stopped lagging for me and seems to be best client if you don't want to use element

Also, often software cannot just "git gud" and fix the caveats of specific technology to make completely user friendly, at least without making a big sacrifices in a features.

And when it comes to security and privacy, compromising it is not a solution, you should either compromise friendlyness+educate people (FOSS way) or compromise something else like ability to use it offline and ability to actually own your data (Centralised and proprietary web services way)

When people think software tricking them into false sense of safety is a good security and then when some software is breaking that illusion then it's a "bad security practice"

Testing my alt text comments with tts util app and google tts engine

Apparently, it doesn't separate speech well by Staple symbols, but pretty good on separating by quotes, so I will try to avoid fist ones.

A random thought - Isn't SELinux just a firewall for files and processes in the system instead of outgoing connections?

Touhou Lotus Eaters becomes more and more interesting over time, and I love it's art in recent chapters

2023 is a year when videogame studio that specializes in immersive sim genre makes a new game but best immersive sim of a year is The Legend of Zelda series entry (kinda? It seems like any game is a immersive sim when compared to redfall)

For some reason I find allowing root for app in KernelSU extremely satisfying to do

Like, it feels so much cooler to have a simple system where no app knows about root being in system before you manually go into root settings and allow it (with simple but serious confirmation popup).

Magisk/Shizuku popups are more convinient (I guess? It won't matter for handful of apps that you would allow root for anyway) but are miles less satisfying and give the feeling similar to normal boring permission popup

Apparently, my issues with fdroid and aurora store were due to extremely outdated aurora packages in latest minmicrog

The only way to fix that was to manually update aurora store and aurora droid from their official site (not fdroid repos)
Tired Bunny :bunhdcomfysleep:
And safetynet network error IS ALSO Minmicrog ISSUE, minmicrog didn't give microg freaking internet acess during installation
