it's been really fun to see zines in libraries -- the folks from Swarthmore (https://www.swarthmore.edu/news-events/diy-publications-find-a-home-mccabe-library) sent me this photo of How Git Works in their zine library

I was imagining a big breasted fox girl for the past 6 months and still she had not appeared.  @Deiru The guy who told you that, missed out the important part: - getting to actually make or get what you imagine. I have a feeling that Mastodon and most other projects grew complacent. Not much of new features being developed, and old, long requested ones (like groups or migrations/nomadic identities) are stuck in development hell. I miss big stuff happening in the Fediverse.

  @drq well mastodon != fediverse. Go for some instance with a different software, or at least a different client app. They usually provide more features. Buzz words maybe misskey, pleoroma, pixelfed, ... To the fedi devs: please wake the F up, guys... The Fediverse is already great, sure, but it is still very much work in progress!!! We've got things to address! Let's sleep on the laurels later.

@frameworkcomputer Amazing! I'm so happy that I can order a Framework Laptop 13 with the International English Linux keyboard now. This makes at least 3 companies that ship new production laptops with Super keys that ship easily in the USA: Framework, System76, and Purism.  I have a feeling that Mastodon and most other projects grew complacent. Not much of new features being developed, and old, long requested ones (like groups or migrations/nomadic identities) are stuck in development hell. I miss big stuff happening in the Fediverse.

While I completely agree, the problem is that executives only care about short-term profits so will happily guy a company - see: Boeing. Executives correctly believe that the one and only purpose of a corporation is to make as much money as quickly as possible. Literally nothing else matters.
