Never in the history of ever has the phrase "quell student protests" indicated a growing societal reverence for democracy and civil rights. "Don't like posts, boost them." "Don't block people, it's antisocial." Babies, use this service however you like and in ways that bring you and your friends the most joy and the best sense of safety. Hammer the like button if you want. Block whoever you feel like, for whatever reason you want. You don't owe anybody else engagement in the form they might prefer - or at all.

@thekitmalone I do understand making folks aware of the difference between liking and boosting though. @thekitmalone the sad part about this remark, is the fact it has to be said at all. By you posting this it means some people actually try to make others feel “bad” for “for silencing their voice”. All the while those people don’t think about WHY they were blocked. Instead of looking inward they look outward and blame others for being antisocial. It’s a sad sad World Wide Web "Just a day after #ElonMusk and David Sacks hosted #RonDeSantis on #Twitter for an exclusive and disastrous presidential announcement, the #Florida governor signed a bill shielding Musk’s #SpaceX from liability if workers are killed after his rockets blow up." @thekitmalone So.. SpaceX got the same protections NASA enjoys.. and this is a problem because? DeSantis attacks Disney for being too "woke" yet gives the well known transphobe and far right shit stirrer Musk a free pass if he kills people? :eyeroll: If their direction of travel isn't obvious by now... I wouldn't put DeSantis handing out gas chamber contracts to his new chum Musk. |
Gonna mute this thread now because it's going places and that means it'll inevitably become a cesspool. I don't really feel like participating.
@thekitmalone Never in the history of ever did the people uttering the phrase care for any of those things, or, for the most part, pretended to.
