I feel so bad for missing out here in the EU and I'm definitely thinking of giving up universal healthcare, low crime rates, proper social safety nets, relative lack of extreme poverty, proper vacation days, quality education, livable, walkable cities, and lack of active shooter drills at my kids' preschool for the ability to generate a shitty image everybody you send it to will hate you for.

@thomholwerda @thomholwerda doesn't seem to apply or exist in #Fennec as distributed via #FDroid... Just a random thank you to all the #KDE contributors for resisting the urge to dumb down KDE or chase the touch dream at the expense of everything else. KDE is still mouse/keyboard first, and I hope it stays that way for as long as possible. @thomholwerda Omg. That thing is so dumb, that e.g. Dolphin can not search within hidden files/paths... Even if I tell it to show them... 😏 Unpopular opinion: the tech media's focus on battery life for laptops is entirely misguided and disconnected from reality. The vast majority of laptops spend 95% of their lifetime plugged in. The other 5% is when they're moved from one room to the next. Don't @ me. @thomholwerda @BrodieOnLinux eeehhhh if I want smth that's plugged in, I'll use my desktop. if I want smth mobile that's what my laptop is for. give my laptop a good battery life. |
@thomholwerda it just sucks that you gotta contribute to the Google machine and use a Pixel to get the goods.
@thomholwerda I agree. I feel, for the first time after ages, that I have control of my device, still being able to do anything I need
