Wow, people really enjoyed Round Bird yesterday. I wonder if I have some other bird sketches that I've totally forgotten about that people might enjoy. I doubt they're as round, though. 🤔

@sinituulia @sinituulia I have known a couple of couples, although not well, who had no kitchen in normal sized houses that they owned. One couple moved from the city to the countryside near the town of Aberaron, but not in it and promptly ripped out the kitchen. They had a primary school age child. Went out for every meal and every drink. The choice is not great in that tiny town. While Pörri still slightly struggles with blanket technology, he has quite efficiently conquered boxes, and has once again gotten rid of the lid keeping him from napping on my exercise clothes. Not in frame: Karvinen staring at him, because now he wants to be in the box, too. Rest your gaze upon a wriggly boy, should you like. Pörri, the littlest sir, does this thing where he'll roll around on the floor lost in his little kitty world, and then make eye contact with you and roll some more. Here, have this little clip of Karvinen trying to calibrate to the optimum head tilt angle that will make me pay attention to his polite requests: Here's some exceptionally soft cats to soothe your wrinkled brain. Sometimes the brain has too many wrinkles! Should you be able to, I'd recommend drinking coffee in bed while watching a show on a tablet while two cats nap on your legs. It's quite nice. Truly the life! A cat on a quilt, for your #CatsOnQuilts needs! Here's a triple nap cat gif for your wrinkled brain needs, from my archives of the boys being cute. A cat gif to soothe your wrinkled brain. Here's one of my most powerful cat gifs, if you'd like one. Meanwhile, something tells me that Kerv likes being on the top shelf. I just have a feeling. Everything is terrible. Might I invite you to look at some cats in flower pots? First there was one, then two, then three cats napping on the quilt. Cats on quilts, it's visually and emotionally pleasing. One of the many things I enjoy about black cats that at any given time they'll look like they're gently but unexpectedly experiencing unknowable mysteries of the universe and having their little minds blown - just because their faces and eyes are like that! A brief cat report: I've been enjoying having the cat food on the table, it's so much easier to wash the plates and fill the bowls... |
"I doubt any of them are as round", I think to myself and open the folder of scanned paintings... I mean, it's not as good as Round Bird but it's still quite round. According to my notes this is a Siberian Jay, and I recall it being a 30 minute sketch in desperation to make a birthday card for someone on a very tight deadline.
