Behold! A beautiful bastard! For some reason he's decided that licking a specific power cable sheathed in a cable protector will yield some kind of positive results instead of me yelling at him because it drives me up a wall. In further cat news: When Pörri sleeps with his eyes closed, his facial structure makes him look like he's smiling. I have been knotting, hiding and finishing a million bits of thread for about 11 million years. There are still loose threads. And in further cat news: Woke up this morning at six because drinking water is a scam, walked past the cat tree, did a double take, and then went to get my phone for some bad photos of this dual nap situation. Double decker cats in a lesser amount of pixels. Today I am feeling poorly, but moments ago I had multiple cats for company. (Now just one, but it makes reaching the keyboard much easier!) I have had a trying evening due to my own hubris, so here's just a big blurry mitten for morale purposes. Meanwhile! The boys were having a nap in my lap and it was very cute. Me, carefully inching the phone closer to their napping faces, quietly in my head: ENHANCE Spot the second cat. The boys enjoy the kitchen window with the light diffusing film but no curtains! A little kitty backpack: not very utilitarian but great for morale purposes. (Technically selfies, though I am but a contented platform for the cat) Many of you already know Karvinen, but let me tell you about Pörri. Pörri is very large and very soft and has unfathomable amounts of silky hair that gets absolutely everywhere. He has no idea why he can't fit on my lap at the same time as Karvinen, or that he's the weight of two small cats. Whenever he climbs onto my lap it's only a matter of time before he flips around, like this. I love him. It's hot again, so my boy Pörri is doing his best impression of a decadent Roman emperor leaning over his cups - that is to say, napping while using his water bowl as a pillow, and occasionally flicking his little tongue out to have a leisurely few sips of water. Sometimes he falls asleep like this.
